After working at one of the UK's largest full service agencies for a combined total of over 14 years, and with nearly 20 years experience in design altogether, we are perfectly placed to offer you a professional and timely service. Further to that, we are a dedicated and committed team ­ whether we are pushing our mountain bikes up an impossible hill just because it is there or working until 3am in our haunted office to ensure our clients receive what they want, when they want it.

Mike Danford - Partner
Mike brings over 14 years of traditional print and interactive design experience. In previous employment he has worked for clients such as the Department of Work and Pensions and the Department for Education and Skills. More recently with clients including West Yorkshire Strategic Health Authority and Travelodge. His design specialities include photography, colour and light and he's strongly convinced that pink is the new orange.

Phil Shackleton - Partner
Phil's passion for digital media drives him to continually hone his skills and better understand the interactive markets, focussing on visual design, information and interactive design and web development.

Before setting up Mixd, Phil was involved in the conceptual development and design of interactive projects for clients such as the Department of Work and Pensions, Department for Education and Skills, Yorkshire Forward, Yorkshire Water and Yates's. His talents and experience have been invaluable contributions to the success of client sites, which have won numerous awards including the national 'Best Website' award in the 2001 Cream Awards. More recently he has gained accolades for 'Best Information Site' and 'Best Not for Profit Site' at the Digital Yorkshire Internet Awards 2004.

Strengths: Vacuuming, asking questions, Flash, talking technical, pretending to be a surfer, smiling, CSS coding and digital film making.
