PHP web developer

We are currently seeking a web developer to join our development team working on a number of projects for our impressive client list.

This is primarily a development role, so you must have expert hands-on knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and 'standards based web development' using XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). An understanding of AJAX, Ruby on Rails and UI libraries such Scriptacoulus would also be an advantage but is not essential. If you can also design for web and get involved with scoping complex functional products all the better. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and eager to further their career within a progressive small agency environment. Industry experience for this role is not as essential as is the desire to join a team where your own abilities will be reflected in your progression with us.

The position involves working on a wide range of commercial websites and applications for new and existing clients. We offer a relaxed and friendly working environment with the chance to implement your own ideas and have a real impact on the success of our clients' web presence.

Required experience:

• Expert hands-on knowledge of PHP, mySQL, JavaScript
• Hands on knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS as well as other web development/production tools
• Familiarity with and adherence to web standards
• Object-oriented programming

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
Hours: Full time.
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire.
