Bright young digital design agency, Mixd, has just completed a new fundraising ‘showreel’ for St George’s Crypt in Leeds, one of the country’s longest-standing charities for the homeless and needy, which marks its 75th anniversary this year with an appeal to raise £750,000.
The two minute animation will be showcased this weekend (July 16th) at the annual ‘Opera in the Park’ event at Temple Newsam in Leeds. It was built and designed jointly by Mixd with Leeds’ based B&W Studio.
Mixd, which was formed last year by Phil Shackleton and Mike Danford (formerly of the Brahm agency in Leeds), also built St George’s Crypt’s new Anniversary website www.stgeorgescrypt.org.uk - again in collaboration with B&W Studio.
Phil Shackleton says, “St George’s Crypt is viewed as a very special place by everyone who comes into contact with it. We were delighted to help produce the showreel, which hopefully will prove to be a powerful tool to help the charity reach its fundraising target in its anniversary year.”
