Developer Jobs in Leeds

We haven’t even reached the end of 2019 and already we have big plans on the horizon for 2020 starting with a number of developer jobs that we are actively looking to recruit in Leeds. To support our plans for 2020 Mixd are looking for some incredibly talented developers to join our growing teams.

Currently we have web developer job opportunities for:

  • Frontend developers with a focus on components
  • PHP developers with a focus on scalable solutions and API integrations
  • WordPress developers to push the boundaries of what is possible with Gutenberg and the WordPress API.

Frontend developer job role

We are looking for passionate frontend developers to work with us in serving, highly performance optimised, scalable accessible website frontends. The ideal candidate is obsessive about componentised development and a highly self motivated problem solver.

PHP developer job role

We are also looking for talented PHP developers to work with us to deliver scalable, performance optimised backend application layers for some of our biggest NHS and other public sector clients.

The ideal candidate knows the intricacies of PHP development, is an expert in writing object oriented PHP and has familiarity with one of the bigger frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony ideally.

WordPress developer job role

Finally, we are also looking for a talented WordPress developer to develop elegant solutions for our clients, pushing WordPress and Gutenberg to its limits to deliver incredible editing experiences and elegant bespoke theme development solutions.

The ideal candidate has several years of WordPress experience writing bespoke themes from the ground up, they understand how WordPress works at a deeper level than basic theme development and can use that knowledge to make informed decisions about how to approach different features.
