Mixd predominantly works with large Public Sector clients to deliver performance optimised, accessible websites, intranets, extranets and apps. We have established ourselves as one of the NHS’ leading digital partners and we have the privilege to work on a daily basis with NHS trusts, Clinical Care Groups and acute care specialists. Mixd also works with other Public sector bodies including the Police and Local Government.
Mixd has an agile approach to projects. Our team includes specialists in Discovery, UX, editorial, content migration and design that work closely with our clients to understand their goals and needs and use that to plan and roadmap our sprints so that our development team can focus on writing code.
Mixd have been advocates of accessibility for many years and as a minimum deliver websites that are fully compliant with the WCAG2.1 AA specification. We also believe in Accessible UX, working towards websites that provide an enjoyable experience regardless of the technology used to visit the site.
Over the last year, we are extremely proud to have supported the NHS in delivering critical solutions for the effective communication of information related to COVID-19. We developed a drop-in WordPress module for Coronavirus related news and updates for many of our NHS partners. We also developed and released a free coronavirus information microsite that could be deployed very quickly for public sector clients that we are extremely proud of.
Due to UK government restrictions we are currently all working remotely. Once restrictions are lifted we plan to return to our studio in the centre of Leeds (right above Leeds station). However there is the option of remote working, or you can do a combination of both. There is an expectation that all employees gather as a group, monthly and in-person where possible.
You can expect all the usual agency benefits and perks but more importantly, you will be joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of creatives and developers, with a passion for excellence.
* Additional holidays are awarded every year after you’ve completed 2 years of service.
